Use lists, dictionaries and tabular thinking to organise information.
Loading data
Work with simple structured data and understand rows, columns, fields and data types.
Cleaning
Identify missing, inconsistent or incorrectly formatted values and decide how to handle them.
Exploration
Calculate useful summaries and inspect distributions and patterns.
Filtering & grouping
Select relevant records and compare categories or segments.
Visualisation basics
Turn findings into clear charts and avoid common misleading choices.
Mini data analysis
Answer a defined question from a dataset and communicate the evidence.

Teaching approach
Teaching is live and tutor-led. Concepts are explained, demonstrated and then applied through guided exercises. Learners are expected to make decisions, attempt tasks, test their work and discuss errors rather than simply watch a completed solution.
