Course content

01

C++ structure

Create, compile and run a basic program and understand the role of headers, main and statements.

02

Variables & data types

Work deliberately with integers, floating-point values, characters, booleans and strings.

03

Input, output & operators

Build interactive console programs and perform calculations.

Store collections and begin understanding how C++ handles data in memory.

08

C++ coding project

Design, implement, test and explain a complete beginner program.

Learning outcomes

  • Write, compile and run C++ programs.
  • Use typed variables, conditions, loops and functions.
  • Understand introductory arrays and memory concepts.
  • Debug common syntax and logic errors.
  • Complete a structured C++ programming project.

Teaching approach

Teaching is live and tutor-led. Concepts are explained, demonstrated and then applied through guided exercises. Learners are expected to make decisions, attempt tasks, test their work and discuss errors rather than simply watch a completed solution.
