Terms for Students and Parents

10. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)
10.1 You may withdraw from any booked slots within 14 days of submitting an online or manual application form by sending a written request to [email protected]. No reason is required.
10.2 Withdrawal requests submitted via text message, social media (including Facebook), or phone calls will not be accepted.
10.3 If you choose to commence lessons within the 14-day withdrawal period, you acknowledge and accept that you forfeit your withdrawal right for any lessons already delivered.
10.4 Once the 14-day period has expired, withdrawals will no longer be permitted and the conditions below will fully apply.

11. Cancellation and Rescheduling of Slots
11.1 All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled lesson by email to [email protected]
11.2 Approved rescheduled slots will be moved to a mutually agreed date and time within the same week or the following week.
11.3 In the case of sudden illness, a scanned medical certificate must be emailed to [email protected] to qualify for rescheduling.
11.4 One-to-one slots may be substituted with an online session where applicable.
11.5 Requests made via text messages, phone calls, or social media will be considered invalid.
11.6 Failure to comply with the cancellation procedure will result in full invoicing of unattended slots, whether paid or unpaid.

12. Termination of Slots
12.1 To terminate all booked slots, regardless of reason, you must provide a minimum of three (3) weeks’ written notice by email to [email protected]
12.2 Termination notices submitted via text message, phone call, or social media will not be accepted.
12.3 All lessons scheduled within the three-week notice period remain payable, whether attended or not.

13. Refund Policy
Any approved refund will be subject to a 10% administrative surcharge, retained by Data Science Malta to cover registration and payment processing costs.

14. Public Holidays
Public holidays are not included unless explicitly stated or specifically requested in advance.

15. Governing Law
Your use of this website and any dispute arising from such use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta.
